The Klausen Group brings together three Australian businesses: Klausen Process Machinery, Klausen Trading Company and Durablend. Between them they design, supply, build and operate powder and liquid processing equipment. Whether you need a single mill, a complete blending line or a contract manufacturer to run the process for you, the Klausen Group can cover it under one roof.
Why work with the Klausen Group?
Most processing projects involve several suppliers: one for the equipment, another for installation and often a third for trial or toll processing. The Klausen Group removes those hand-offs. Engineering, equipment supply and production sit within the same group, so what is learned in design carries straight through to commissioning and day-to-day operation. You deal with one point of contact from first enquiry to after-sales support, with proven European equipment backed by local service in Australia and New Zealand.

Klausen Group companies

Klausen Trading Company
Klausen Trading Company Pty Ltd is the exclusive Australian and New Zealand agent for WAB-GROUP of Switzerland, maker of DYNO-MILL bead mills and TURBULA mixers, and for ERWEKA pharmaceutical testing instruments. It is also an agent for Hosokawa Alpine and supplies Jyoti Ceramic grinding media. Within the Klausen Group, the trading company gives customers direct access to world-class technology with local quoting, spare parts and technical support.

Durablend
Durablend is an innovative contract manufacturer specialising in all facets of powder and liquid handling. Using a range of machinery, Durablend carries out blending, milling and packing of powders and liquid products for customers who prefer to outsource production rather than invest in their own plant. Its hands-on production experience feeds back into the equipment advice the Klausen Group gives.
How the companies work together

A typical project starts with a conversation about your product, throughput and space. If the right answer is new equipment, our team can recommend and quote machinery from the brands we represent, then design the layout, build the supporting structures and conveying, and install and commission the plant on site. If a customer is not yet ready to invest, production can be outsourced to Durablend, which already blends, mills and packs powders and liquids every day.
Because each business sees a different side of the same processes, advice is practical rather than theoretical. Sales engineers understand how machines behave in real production, the workshop understands what operators need on the factory floor, and the production team knows which equipment holds up over long runs. That shared experience helps customers choose equipment that suits their materials, avoid costly redesigns and get new lines running sooner.
After installation, support continues with spare parts, servicing, operator training and help with upgrades or relocations. Many customers return for second and third projects as their output grows, and some move from contract manufacturing with Durablend to running their own lines with equipment supplied and installed by KPM.
